Les traboules, Lyon

Les traboules. This is maybe for us the most interesting historic place in Lyon, in spite of the great palaces and castles, these small corridors and stairs, full of narrow patios through which light arrives in charming colors to the ground, makes the visitor feel like in the middle age, imaging old merchants transporting their products. At this period the traboules allowed workmen and craftsmen to transport clothes and other textiles through the city while remaining sheltered from inclement weather. For many inhabitants, being a "true Lyonnais" requires being knowledgeable about the city's traboules! http://www.lyontraboules.net/parcours.php

Este es posiblemente, para nosotros, el lugar histórico más interesante de Lyon, a pesar de los grandes palacios y castillos, estos pequeños corredores y escaleras, llenos de estrchos patios a través de los cuáles la luz llega al suelo en rojizos colores, hace sentir al visitante en la edad media, imaginando antiguos mercaderes transportando su mercancía de un sitio a otro. "Les traboules" permitiían a trabajadores transportar sobretodo ropas y otros textiles, permaneciendo protegidos de la meteorología. Lyon, France. We've decided to make ocasionally posts of the most interesting places close to Switzerland. Lyon, Francia. Hemos decidido hacer algunas entradas ocasionales de los lugares más interesantes cercanos a Suiza. Por ello hemos decidido resumir nuestro último fin de semana en Lyon, para nosotros ha sido una ciudad muy bonita, aunque desgraciadamente estuvo lloviendo casi todo el tiempo.
